Dear Parents and Carers,

I am sorry to have to inform you that due to an increasing number of staff absences, we can no longer safely operate under the current circumstances.  We have, therefore, decided to close  Chatsworth High School & Community College, Chatsworth Futures and Chatsworth Engage, with effect from 3.30 p.m. today (17^th March 2020).  We are planning to open again immediately after the Easter holidays, which is scheduled to be on Monday 20^th April 2020.  We will continue to monitor developments and keep you informed via our websites and text services.

I am conscious of the pressures that this creates for you and your family, however in these exceptional times, we have got to focus on the safety and well-being of our pupils.  This consideration is at the heart of our decision and I trust you understand our reasoning.
