Gayle Myers - Acting Headteacher
Louise Hutchinson - Chair
Before becoming a Parent Governor in 2011, Louise trained as a Registered Sick Children's Nurse and worked at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital for nine years. Louise has been Chair of the Governing Body since December 2015. Louise became a Governor when she saw how much the school had helped her son. She wanted to learn more about the school, to support all areas of development, & assist the students in achieving their potential, in whatever way they can. Louise thoroughly enjoys being a Governor at Chatsworth, as it is a challenging but also a very rewarding role.
Janet has been a Foundation Governor since the school was opened. Janet is a retired Headteacher of Dean Park School and Ash Field School and is currently a Distance Education Tutor at the University of Birmingham specialising in PMLD & Challenging Behaviour.
Shirley has been a Parent Governor since 2014 and is actively involved in developing links within the local community. Shirley's extended area of responsibility as a School Governor is Community participation and she is a member of the Outcomes & Quality of Teaching Committee.
Since 2015 Judith has been a Parent Governor in Chatsworth. Judith works as a Primary School Teacher in Stockport, teaching French across KS2, as well as teaching a Year 4 class and has been a teacher for over 25 years. Judith's extended area of responsibility as a School Governor is Multi-Agency Work and is a member of the Outcomes & Quality of Teaching Committee.
Cllr Gina Reynolds
Holding the role since 1997, when Chatsworth was previously New Croft High School Gina is the school's Local Education Authority Governor. As a Councillor for Salford City Council, Gina represents the people of the Langworthy ward and in addition works Part-Time for the NHS in North Manchester as a Specialist Podiatrist. Gina's extended area of responsibility as a School Governor is safeguarding and is a member of the Leadership & Management and Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare Committee.
