Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance
At Chatsworth High School and Community College we believe that careers education, work related learning and enterprise education are essential to the preparation of our young people for transition to adulthood.
Our CEIAG curriculum is flexible, relevant and inclusive reflecting the individual needs of our students. It provides a context for us to provide opportunities for careers education at Key Stage 3 and for careers and work related learning at Key Stages 4 & 5.
We aim to work closely with parents, carers and families, with support from outside agencies including Connexions, Salford’s Business Education Partnership, local businesses and social and health professionals, to ensure each student receives relevant and up to date advice, guidance and support during each stage of their school career.
We are proud to be the first school within Greater Manchester to achieve the Gold Award for Inspiring IAG.
